Assistant Engineering Manager (Level 3)
Ensure alignment of objectives and resourcing with stakeholders in Business Development, Sales, Product Management and Engineering.
Perform implementation reviews, advocate new product features, and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges and guarantee the technical aspects of a partner’s integration.
Analyze and optimize the flow of partner acquisition and technical implementation processes, and improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of JIRA
Act as a scrum master, help to adopt and executing agile practices
Facilitating agile ceremonies, tracking action items
Helps the team write better user stories, tasks, requirements, and issues
Help team with estimations techniques, sprint planning, and tracking
Create dashboards to track productivity, progress, and other KPIs
Support Freshworks compliance, information security, SRE/NOC processes
Help product owners with the roadmap, epics, user stories and manage backlogs.
Remove obstacles for agile squads and reducing interruptions
Negotiate scope and timelines with technical dependencies
Escalate and resolve platform, other products, and org level impediments
Building and maintaining all key engineering delivery timelines
Ensure consistency in practices, vocabulary, and framework across teams.
Keep the engineering side of the project on schedule, and all parties on track and informed
Coordinate dependencies, keep track of the critical path, and expose risk to the roadmap
Drive decisions around priorities that come in conflict with a cross-team
Previous experience as a SCRUM Master / Technical Lead
Technical background with software development, testing, and automation
Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Saas product development
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent collaboration and risk management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience
5 or more years of experience working in the Core Technical team.
